The new series is the state-of-the art in portable hand-held radiation survey search devices for the geological industry. Instruments were exclusively developed for the Radiation-Solution-Inc, Canada.

  Based on large volume sodium iodide detectors (6,3 cu ins) feature about 60% greater sensitivity then other current models available on the market. The RS-230 with bismuth-germanate crystal of the same size instead reaches 80% performance of a reference sodium iodide crystal of the size 3x3”.

  Design strategy of modularity and mechanical unity offers simple upgrading and allows using all features at all series members. The most important are:

     The RS-120 Super-SCINT is a single channel scintilometer intended for searching of radiation sources. Five digits digital LCD display with graphical intensity recorder together with fast audio response make source location easier and eyes free. The unit is single button operated.

  The RS-125 Super-SPEC and the RS-230 Super-SPEC BGO are multichannel spectral analysers. Units can work as single channel scintilometers but their main target is spectral analysis in assay mode. It provides the concentrations of K, U and Th.
